Checks overall mass-balance closure and individual component closure across process streams. Required columns: Stream_Name, Stream_Type (Feed / Product / Waste), Flow_lb_hr. Any additional columns are treated as component flows in lb/hr.

Method: sums Feed streams vs Product + Waste streams and computes closure error as 100 × (in - out) / in. Components (any extra columns) are checked independently. Default pass threshold: |error| < 0.5%.
