First-pass screening of amine treating circulation rate, rich loading, and reboiler duty using GPSA Sec. 21 heuristics. Required columns: case_id, solvent, conc_wt_pct, gas_flow_mmscfd, h2s_mol_pct, co2_mol_pct, lean_loading_mol_mol, rich_loading_target_mol_mol, treated_h2s_ppmv, treated_co2_mol_pct, p_contactor_psig.
Method: per-solvent Btu/gal and gal/mol acid gas heuristics from GPSA Engineering Data Book, 13th Ed., Section 21 — Gas Treating. Gas molar flow uses 1 MMSCFD = 2,636 lbmol/hr (14.73 psia, 60°F). Solvents: MEA, DEA, MDEA, MDEA_PZ, DGA, DIPA. Heuristic only — does not size column diameter, stages, or exchangers; not for COS/mercaptan; follow with rate-based simulation (ProMax / PRO-II / Aspen) for FID.
