CoInafsletcatilo nA Prouinbta E nEgningeeirninege Prriancgtic Pesractices Plastic Lined Metallic Pipe 10.3 The Manufacturer shall include with all shipments: a copy of each instruction manual; all drawings required for assembly, installation, or erection; and one extra copy of all data required under Section 4.0. These documents shall be attached preferably to the inside of the largest crate in the shipment and this crate shall be marked accordingly. 10.4 Plastic–lined pipe and fittings shall not be shipped, stored or handled at temperatures below the recommended minimum limit established ASME B31.3, Table A323.4.3 for the specific grade of plastic under consideration. 10.5 Plastic linings per this Practice shall be colored as shown in Table 2. The color code requirements specified in this table shall be supplied as a material part of the pipe lining thermoplastic and are in addition to any other marking or identification normally applied to the lined pipe. The Manufacturer shall insure that pigments used in color coding liner materials will not affect mechanical or chemical properties of the liner. In addition to color coding of liner materials as specified Manufacturers shall mark all plastic–lined pipe and fittings in conformance with the applicable ASTM Standard.
