Target bolt stress, load, and torque for a bolted flange joint per ASME PCC-1. Uses the short-form nut-factor torque equation T = K · D · F.
Method: ASME PCC-1 Guidelines for Pressure Boundary Bolted Flange Joint Assembly; short-form torque equation T = K · D · F / 12 (ft·lbf). Default target stress 50% of bolt yield. Gasket factors m and y per ASME B16.20. Tightening pattern: star/cross, 3 passes (30% → 70% → 100%) plus a circular 100% check. Bolt materials: SA-193 B7 (105 ksi yield) is the refinery default; use B7M (80 ksi) for sour service per NACE MR0175.
